Celebrities Who Do Keto

What do Halle Berry, Tim Tebow, and Gwyneth Paltrow have in common? They’re all celebrities who do keto!

Celebrities who do keto have all the world at their disposal yet when it comes to weight loss they choose a diet that anyone can do.

Hollywood Walk of Keto

Celebrities: they’re just like us. You’ve been on The Tonight Show, right? No? Oh, then maybe you’re not like a celebrity at all (outside of the fact that you’re a human being concerned with their own health, image, and weight loss)! Broadly speaking, you’re also like a dolphin! Can you imagine a dolphin doing keto? No? Why? Because it’s already on a low-carb diet! You think that dolphin’s eating cake or pizza? Of course not! Although, given the chance, I’m sure a dolphin would eat pizza. Pizza’s the best!

If you want the body of a dolphin or a celebrity, you’re going to have to put in the work just like celebrities and dolphins do. After all, these celebrities  (and dolphins) also want the bodies of celebrities (and dolphins), which is why there are so many celebrities (and dolphins) who do Keto . And you can do just what they do! That means creating an eating plan, eating real foods, and, in, the case of these success stories, having a high fat/low carb diet that’s going to make sure you’re burning fat more efficiently to get the celebrity/dolphin body you want!

Halle Berry

Academy Award winner Halle Berry has been doing the ketogenic diet for so long that she's technically been living a ketogenic life. Berry credits the diet for her youthful appearance and energy levels, her mental clarity, and for helping her manage her type 2 diabetes, which she's had since the age of 19. If it’s good enough for X-Men’s Storm it’s good enough for us. After all, she who controls the weather controls the world! We’ll just settle for controlling our diets. Although, undoing climate change wouldn’t be bad either!

Megan Fox

Megan Fox may be hanging with the Ninja Turtles but she’s eating none of their pizza! And not just because it’s sewer pizza. Yeah, they live in a sewer; that pizza’s gross! No, Fox is saying, “No thank you,” to the ‘za because she’s doing the keto diet. Fox says it’s how she managed to stay fit after having three kids!

Basket Keto

LeBron James

Already considered one of the greatest NBA players of all time, James decided to cut down the carbs for 67 days to, “Test his mental fortitude.” That’s what he told Business Insider. The result? A supercut LeBron James! If he’s going to be staring in Space Jam 2 they better jam in a scene of James showing off his supercut bod!

Alicia Vikander

Alicia Vikander became one of the celebrities who does keto for two months prior to filming her role as the titular Tomb Raider. That means that Lara Croft was on the same diet as us! She’s in the jungle fighting off baddies and dodging bullets, and then eating some avocado with olive oil to make sure she gets the right ratio of fats to protein and carbs. Can you believe it?! WE’RE DOING THE SAME THING! We’re practically tomb raiders ourselves!

Melissa McCarthy

Academy Award nominee and Primetime Emmy Award winner Melissa McCarthy has a lot of wins to be proud of, but she’s got a big loss to be proud of too: 75 lbs thanks to the keto diet.  As reported by Hollywood Life, McCarthy has never felt better than after having done the ketogenic diet.  I can certainly relate to that! Elevated mood, focus, and clarity are all common side effects of getting your energy from ketone bodies. Plus, a loss of that magnitude is certainly an accomplishment to be proud of!

Foot Keto

Tebowing isn’t just the term for taking a knee to pray at a football game; it’s also a term for doing the keto diet to stay in shape. As Tebow told GQ, “My avocado bill is high.” Makes sense: avocado is full of macronutrients, its four net carbs per fruit, and it’s one of the foods that can help lower anxiety.

Kourtney Kardashian

It’s not as hard as you think to keep up with the Kardashian’s if you’re doing keto. As reported by People Magazine, Kourtney’s gone low carb and never looked back. And why would she? It makes you look and feel younger, and the main sacrifice is cutting out processed foods and sneaky foods with added sugar! You can even learn how to eat sweets on the keto diet. In fact, dark chocolate is great for the diet because it’s so high in fat! “I would make broccoli rice or cauliflower rice to at least feel like I was eating some carbs,” said Kardashian, which means she’s basically agreeing with my point that eating regular rice in 2019 is like having a landline. Give up the rice, grandpa!

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop is as out of touch as your friends who refuse to listen to trap music. I’M DRAWING HARD LINES IN THE SAND! But one thing that she’s right about is the ketogenic diet (and her adoration of emo trap pioneer Lil Peep. JK! That’s me! Check out his album Come On Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1!) If anyone doubted Goop’s endorsement of the low-carb diet the proof is in the Paltrow.  She looks great!

Keto Walk

Adriana Lima

Wanna look like a supermodel? Then do the keto diet and two hours of exercise daily just like Lima did!  Right now I’m doing 65 minutes of cardio a couple times a week plus keto to get in the shape I want to be in. That’s 50% to being a runway model! You can be doing the same thing too! There’s gyms everywhere, you can just walk around your neighborhood., or just be patient and let keto do its work. Soon enough you’ll be enjoying the benefits of keto and you won’t even want to go back!

Vinny Guadagnino

The Jersey Shore star is back on the pop culture radar thanks to 2018’s Jersey Shore Family Reunion. In an Instagram post, Guadagnino admitted that he was 50 lbs heaviers and looked 10 years older before he adopted the keto lifestyle. Age may be a number, but how you feel about your own appearance plays a big part in how you make your way through the world. You may choose to deprive yourself of opportunities and experiences just because of how you look, and that’s a hard reality to live in.

Jersey is an especially challenging place for low-carbers because of all the pizza pies. Pizza pies are as plentiful in Jersey as palm trees in California. And then there’s all the sandwiches. So many sandwiches that people have debates over what they should be called! Grinders, hoagies, heroes, subs, etc! But as Guadagnino and other keto enthusiasts have learned, myself included, no slice of pizza tastes as good as how you’ll feel on keto.
