For the most part, these types of treatments fly in the face of much medical advice, are ineffective, and have the ironic effect of actually increasing the likelihood of developing cellulite.

Exercise helps with fat storage, collagen, and circulation. When you build muscle through strength training you also strengthen connective tissue, which means less cellulite. You can even target the butt and thighs with particular exercises (squats, lunges, etc).
